Take
Me to Truth
Take Me to Truth: Undoing the Ego boldly
addresses
the fundamental problem that all Spiritual seekers face; the
ego. A
six-step navigational
guide to Undoing the Ego. Foreword by Gary R. Renard, author of
The
Disappearance
of the Universe.
I (Michael) recently reviewed this book:
Readers who are serious about awakening to their spiritual
reality
will find much
to assist and inspire them in this illuminating and
thought-provoking
book. The authors' inspiration is mainly drawn from A Course
in
Miracles,
resulting in
a work that is both profound and practical.
The path of awakening, with its many traps, is clearly
explained and
much help and
encouragement is given the reader.
Poetry in Motions Films
Closer Than Close (80
min,
DVD) examines the spiritual search – the search for the
essential
questions of human life: Is there an eternal part of ourselves?
What
has lasting meaning? Where do we find certainty? Rather
than
philosophical discussion, it explores living a life devoted to a
search
for answers, and the radical possibility that answers exist,
closer
than we can imagine, within our selves.

Until the summer of her
fiftieth
year, Jan Frazier lived a life typical for a well-educated,
middle-class American woman. Then, in August 2003, she
experienced a
radical transformation of consciousness. Fear fell away from
her, and
she was immersed in a state of causeless joy that has never
left her.
While she has continued her life as writer, teacher, and
mother, she
has discovered it is possible to live a richly human life free
of
suffering. Her wish now is to communicate the truth that
within
every person is a pool of calm well-being that waits patiently
to be
stirred to life.
When
Fear
Falls Away: The Story of a Sudden Awakening (Weiser Books, 2007) is Jan’s
day-by-day account of the shift in consciousness and its
alteration of
her life.
The
Freedom of Being At Ease with What Is. The Freedom of
Being invites the earnest seeker to take an honest look at
what motivates the spiritual life. Is the deepest longing to
become radically free, to directly encounter the truth, to
live in the real world without the limitation of
mind-generated identity? Or is the longed-for thing simply to
live a happier life, to feel better, to suffer less? This book
helps the reader to sort out one from the other, and then
offers clear, life-changing guidance toward each end.
Opening
the Door-Jan Frazier Teachings on Awakening. (eBook
only) An eBook collection of essay teachings originally on
Jan’s website. The book opens the reader’s awareness to the
possibility of a richly human life, beyond what appears
possible to the ego and the mind. The teachings point to
unresisting present-moment attention, where the truth of
existence is known. Jan Frazier’s teachings are drawn from
direct experience, relying on no particular tradition or set
of beliefs.

Namaste Publishing.................Publishes "THE POWER OF NOW" by Eckhart Tolle. The author explains from personal experience the power of living in the now moment.

"Having access to that formless realm is truly liberating. It
frees you
from
bondage to form and identification with form. It is life in its
undifferentiated
state prior to its fragmentation into multiplicity. We may call
it the
Unmanifested,
the invisible Source of all things, the Being within all beings.
It is
a realm of
deep stillness and peace, but also of joy and intense aliveness.
Whenever you are
present, you become "transparent" to some extent to the light,
the pure
consciousness that emanates from this Source. You also realize
that the
light is
not separate from who you are but constitutes your very
essence."

Tolle

a
powerful
inner
transformation
Byron
teaches
people
that
what
disturbs
them
in the world is a mirror
to what is
unhealed in themselves.

"I have simply stopped arguing with reality. How do I know the
wind
should blow?
It's blowing. How do I know this is the highest order? It's
happening.
Arguing with
'what is' is like teaching a cat to bark. It’s not
very
fulfilling. I am
my friend and no longer confused. The way I know that reality is
good
is that when
I argue the point I experience tension, fear and frustration. I
lose -
not sometimes,
but 100% of the time. It just doesn't feel natural inside: no
balance,
no connection.
I want reality to change? Hopeless. Let me change my thinking.
Some of
us mentally
argue with 'what is.' Others of us attempt to control and change
'what
is,' and then
tell ourselves and others that we actually had something to do
with any
apparent
change that took place. This leaves no connection or room for
God in my
life. In
the peaceful experience of no opposition to God, I remain aware
of my
nature: clear,
vibrant, a friend, a listener."
Ramana Maharshi..............................Official
web

of
a

of
non-duality.
"What is called
'mind' is a
wondrous power residing in
the Self. It causes all thoughts to arise. Apart from thoughts,
there
is no such
thing as mind. Therefore, thought is the nature of mind. Apart
from
thoughts, there
is no independent entity called the world. In deep sleep there
are no
thoughts, and
there is no world. In the states of waking and dream, there are
thoughts, and there
is a world also. Just as the spider emits the thread (of the
web) out
of itself and
again withdraws it into itself, likewise the mind projects the
world
out of itself
and again resolves it into itself. When the mind comes out of
the Self,
the world
appears. Therefore, when the world appears (to be real), the
Self does
not appear;
and when the Self appears (shines) the world does not appear.
When one
persistently
inquires into the nature of the mind, the mind will end leaving
the
Self (as the
residue). What is referred to as the Self is the Atman. The mind
always
exists only
in dependence on something gross; it cannot stay alone. It is
the mind
that is called
the subtle body or the soul (jiva)." From "Who Am I?"
J.
Krishnamurti
.................................Contains excerpts from his
teachings.

"I claim that the truth is a pathless territory. And one cannot
approach it
by any path, by any religion or sect. This is my point of view,
and I
hold it absolutely
and unconditionally ... Once you have understood this, you will
see how
impossible
it is to organize a belief. A belief is an individual matter,
and you
cannot and
must not organize it. If you still do it, it dies, it
crystallizes
itself and becomes
a belief system, a sect, a religion, which will be forced onto
others.
Everybody
throughout the world tries to do that. The truth becomes
narrowed and a
toy for those
who are weak, who are only temporarily dissatisfied. The truth
cannot
be lowered,
but each one has to come up to it. You cannot take the top of
the
mountain into the
valley ..."

'I Am That'

Discover all you are not. Body, feelings, thoughts, ideas, time,
space,
being and
not-being, this or that - nothing concrete or abstract you can
point
out to is you.
A mere verbal statement will not do - you may repeat a formula
endlessly without
any result whatsoever. You must watch yourself continuously -
particularly your mind
- moment by moment, missing nothing. This witnessing is
essential for
the separation
of the self from the not-self.
Do understand that you are destined for enlightenment.
Co-operate with
your destiny,
don't go against it, don't thwart it. Allow it to fulfil itself.
All
you have to
do is to give attention to the obstacles created by the foolish
mind.
